SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGE WITHDRAWN

Ms. Page’s client, a taxi driver, was charged with sexually assaulting a customer. After reviewing the disclosure materials, Ms. Page convinced the Crown to withdraw the charge rather than setting a trial date. Ms. Page then successfully appealed the Toronto Police decision not to destroy the client’s fingerprints, photographs and records of disposition.
